In Relation Lab is founded by Merje Laiapea.

Merje works collaboratively across borders. She has an MA in Global Creative and Cultural Industries from SOAS University of London, certifications in awareness-based change from MIT x Online and regenerative systems design from ETH Zürich. Her experience of more than 12 years ranges from music and audiovisual media to cultural heritage and fashion with a focus on safeguarding cultural rights and activating circular and community-led processes.
